Household products such as the items listed above can impair our waterways if they are discarded in the garbage, poured down the drain, spilled accidentally, or dumped outside. Protect water quality by properly disposing of hazardous household waste (HHW).

Bring your HHW to the Carteret County Health Department on April 10th from 8 am-1 pm. Covid 19 guidelines will be in place. Please remain in your vehicle. Staff and volunteers will remove items from your vehicle. Contact Bobbi Waters (Coastal Environmental Partnership) for more information about this event (252) 633-1564 bobbi@crswma.com
