Week of Gratitude: Giving Thanks to Friends
I am so grateful for the super rad friends I have and I’m even more grateful for the times we’ve shared and memories we’ve created together. I’m also pretty stoked that I got some pretty sweet send offs over the last week or so.
I had an awesome send off, early bday, and holiday lunch with one of my favs, Betty Sanders-Seavey a few weeks ago, which was a start to a round of meetings, gatherings, and bon voyage send offs that I am so grateful for.
Wes and I got in a few last minute beach Cleanups including the Bogue Banks Surfrider Foundation monthly gig.
One of my fav dive chicks, Nema Blankenship and I celebrated shipping off and her recent nuptials with brewskies at the local pub.
My fav crew of Eco warriors, Plastic Ocean Project, POP UNCW Chapter,and my dear friend and fellow mermaid, Bonnie Monteleone gave me a surprise bon voyage gig and I’ve never blushed so much in my life. I was overwhelmed with joy and completely blown away by their kindness and support.
My fav neighbor of all time and super fab gal pal, Lisa Crane Fletcher, met me for a celebratory lunch. I’m gonna miss this chick. She’s Sent from my iPhone
I am also planning a last minute Skype sesh with these two lovely and talented ladies: my sister, Drew Smith and bestie dive buddy, Krissi Fountain.
